Christmas with the Edwards!

On Friday Dec 21, We worked our Food bank at our church and helped out at the Salvation Army this year... While we were doing this, I know it opened our eyes to see what the Holiday Season is all about... Unconditional LOVE that know matter what. Our God loves us, so much that he sent his son to be the Savor of the WORLD. There are many people right here in our small town going through rough times and my heart breaks for them,
many our alone or struggling.
Now it has us thinking as a Family what can WE do to HELP! My oldest said it best just
SHOW our LOVE! Just has God did when he sent Jesus.
“And even the very hairs of your head are numbered” (Matthew 10:30)

We hear all the time that nothing is too big for God. But have you ever thought that a problem was too small for God? Are there things in your life that you haven’t prayed about simply because you thought it did’t matter to God? Every detail of your life is important to God. He knows the very number of hairs you have on your head! That’s pretty amazing to think about. If He keeps track of every hair that falls from your head, surely He cares about the things that you care about in your life. God wants to be involved in every area of your life—not just the big things, but the small things too. Don’t wait to pray until you have a major crisis. Talk to Him every day about everything. God wants to be involved in your mornings. He wants to be involved throughout your workday. He wants to be involved when you go to the grocery store. He wants to be involved in every area of your life. Open your heart and talk to Him about everything because nothing is too small for Him!

On Saturday Dec 22, Shopping, wrapped and cooked all day long!
On Sunday Dec 23, we had Christmas with my mom and dad along with my sisters family...What a great time. While we were there my grandma Townsend fell down and needed to be taken to the hospital so my dad and I went out and got her. She ended up with eleven stitches and a really sore body...Praise God that was all. The winds were really bad here and as she was opening up her back door to go inside. The wind took it, throwing her off her steps. Crazy as it sounds, with your oxygen tank and her purse in which is like having everything but the kitchen sink...it throw her about 4-5 ft away from her steps thank goodness for their dog sandy.

My parents and girls
Our kids
