LOOKING back ~ LOOKING forward

YESTERDAY, I use a wonderful gifts certificate that my mother-in-law got me last year for Christmas. LOVE IT!I had a Hot Stone Massage ~~ WOW~~
Hot Stone massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps tight muscles release. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed myself. Specially after this past month of tests and being in so much pain...THANK YOU MiMi.
Today a really good friend was telling me that last night she had sat down to set some goals. It REALLY got me THINKING...What Are My Goals? Any one that really knows me, could say She will try anything at least once...but I still find my self looking looking looking. What was amazing that when I sat down to do my devotion my bible opened to THIS versus...

"I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back." (Philippians 3:13-14)

The reason it is so important for you to set and achieve goals is that you have a unique purpose that only you can fulfill. It's kind of like building your own house—something you had better not attempt without a clear vision of your goals and a good set of blueprints, or you may wind up with some extra doors or windows and no place to put them! God is the architect of your life. His Word is a blueprint of His hopes and plans for your life. Trust Him to help you set your goals. If you have a problem being focused and setting goals for your life, one of the best things you can do is to start writing them down, both short-term and long-term ones. It's amazing how your life can begin to take shape when you can see on paper where you want to go.

THANKS to that SPECIAL FRIENDS always to my Father in Heaven!

I need that massage bad especially my shoulders. I've always wondered what those were like. Sounds relaxing and wonderful.

Goals are good. Would love to know what goals you came up with. I need to set some goals, both spiritually and with my business.

Okay, I'd LOVE a hot stone massage...or any massage at all : )

This was a great post about goals. I totally agree about writing them down. I started doing that this last year and it's amazing to see them being accomplished. They are at the forefront of your mind and so you feel a lot more motivated to do something about them.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. Hope you have a wonderful weekend : )
